Temescal Brewing Oktoberfest
What the brewers say
“A full-flavored and well-balanced lager.”
What our panel thought
“The aroma of bread crusts, Concord grapes, and tarragon is so delicate that it’s almost undetectable. Sweet bread and fresh dough in the flavor; well-balanced with a lingering hop bitterness. It seems too pale to be a märzen, yet too gold to be a festbier. So, enjoy it as an Oktoberfest in-betweener.”
What our editors thought
“Minimal nose with vague toasty notes. Pointed bitterness with a touch of extra acidity that brings out citrus notes in the hops.”
