What the brewers say

"Complex, refreshing, and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)."

What our panel thought

"Beautiful pepper spice on the nose, lightly floral, citrus. Effervescent. Low woody hop flavors. Grainy malt with a dry finish, note of caramel, some husky astringency. Subdued fermentation character (bubblegum and hay) adds complexity. Light, crisp body. Tasty, refreshing version of the style; tart without being sour."

What our editors thought

"Light pepper, nutmeg, lime on the nose. The sip is a touch watery, belying its lightness, but a bright effervescence on the tongue and an incredibly light malt note offer drinkability in spades."
