What the brewers say

"Dry, appetizing, complex, energizing blend of aged and young lambic." What our reviewers thought:

What our panel thought

"Tart raspberry notes lead toward a dry, highly carbonated finish with a pleasant underlying sourness. Very crisp throughout, refreshing with some interesting weird edges."

What our editors thought

"A strong mineral funk on the nose of wet slate and shoe rubber gives way to a bright and effervescent lime citrus funk on the sip that's incredibly dry. It's weirdly compelling and thoroughly unique."

“Green tobacco-like notes in the nose with hints of tar, wet hay, light fruit. Rustic and earthy with hints of smoke, leather, dried fruit, and a rich umami mushroom finish. Soft tartness lingers on the tongue as pineapple but blends well.”

**Aroma:** “Fruit characters comes through: peach, some orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, a touch of banana, and light strawberry. Lactic tartness is present but not overpowering. Sharp _Brett_ earthy notes add complexity.” **Flavor:** “Blend accentuates the fruit notes—big peach and apricot, moderate plum, pear, and tangerine, light pineapple—and the high carbonation gives it definition. Tartness and _Brett_ notes sit in the back with funk that isn’t overpowering. Bright acidity, quickly opens up to tangerine, ginger, and light mango. A light bit of leather and wood softens the edges. Nice lingering dry finish—extremely drinkable.” **Overall:** “The complex flavors seem to mesh and flow well together. Acidity and tartness are well supported by delicate peach and apricot notes. This is a beautiful bright sour fruit bomb with wonderful fruit aromas and flavors, a bright acidity and a touch of _Brett_ bitterness to bring us back down to earth.”

“Super _Brett_-forward aroma with elements of leather, horse blanket, earthy lemon, wet-concrete followed by subtle grassy notes. The sip is funky but bright, with lemon, leather, earthy pepper, on lively effervescence. Finishes nicely tart and slightly citric.”
