WeldWerks Sabro DDH Juicy Bits

What the brewers say

NEIPA brewed with Citra, Mosiac, and El Dorado hops and double dry hopped with Sabro hops.

What our panel thought

Perfect haze and color combination. Fantastic aroma with notes of coconut, lime, and pineapple. Striking fla-vor profile with big notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and passion fruit (which lends a bit of tartness). Somewhat abrupt finish with light astringency.

What our editors thought

A blunt creamy vanilla-mint note drives the offbeat but intriguing nose. The flavor is coconut and wormwood with some mild citrus undertones. All in all, a curious and quirky beer that’s oddly compelling.

WeldWerks Sabro DDH Juicy Bits 2020

Odd profile: cedar, mint, persimmon, with intense peach and coconut. Evident malt: biscuit, pie crust. More peach in flavor. More tropical than citrus. Dry, woody finish, almost musty. Soft, creamy, no rough edges. Killer job.

WeldWerks Brewing Co. Advanced Fluid Dynamics

“Hints of earthy coconut dance over tropical-fruit notes of pineapple, mango, and orange in the aroma. Complex fruit flavors vie with marshmallow malt. Lots of fresh mango, juicy pear, guava, and light lemon. Soft mouthfeel, but a light warmth.”

Weldwerks Brewing Just Gose

“Pleasantly refreshing. Light cherry esters with some tart wheat notes on the nose. Flavor is lemony with a soft light acidity and spritzy effervescence. Brackish enough to emphasize the tart. Easy-drinking. Here comes the sun!”
