What the brewers say

Imperial stout brewed with peanut flour, cacao nibs, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

What our panel thought

The peanut-flour aromas coupled with some sweet chocolate notes create the impression of a freshly opened Reece’s. It delivers on what the aroma promises as what follows is a boozy version of a Hershey bar dipped in the Jiffy jar. The sweetness is present but restrained, the alcohol is noticeable but not harsh, and the balance is on point.

What our editors thought

Densely rich peanut notes on the nose feel naturally decadent but perfectly in place. The sip carries through on the promise of the nose, with bold and nutty notes singing in harmony with the rich chocolate.
