What the brewers say

"House mixed-culture... barrel-aged, rye-forward farmhouse ale with Hallertauer Blanc hops."

What our panel thought

"Funk-forward: spice, earthy Brett, barnyard, wet hay, wet stone, cannabis, and a weird green chili note. More green chili in the flavor; low sweetness, firm acidity, pleasantly tart. Notes of lemon, orange citrus, melon, pineapple."

What our editors thought

Dirty, peppery funk on the nose—black pepper, oxidation, rotting lemon and lime, sweet leaf. The sip offers a touch of red apple sweetness with rails of peppery phenol."
