Von Ebert Brewing Angular Momentum

What the brewers say

"Foeder-conditioned saison, dry-hopped with Enigma hops."

What our panel thought

"Grassy, earthy hops notes lead into white wine, spice, pineapple, tangerine, lemon, and Brett funk. Moderately sweet on creamy body, with moderate acidity; oranges, strawberry and pear in the flavor. Finish is quite dry, almost tannic green tea and oak."

What our editors thought

"Lemongrass, dry hay, lime zest, white rose. The sip is effervescent, highlighting light Brett and bitterness, with a touch of fermentation funk, acid, and light fruit."

Perennial Artisan Ales Hainaut

Bright gold with lush foam and lace. Bright Noble-hop aroma, spicy and grassy, with Sprite-like lemon-lime notes and clean, bready malt. Soft smoke-and-spice phenolics. Soft, light, grainy flavor, with simple but pleasant herbal-grassy bitterness and notes of pepper and light fruit. Lively. Fairly bitter. Dry finish with lingering pepper-spice. Tastes like a well-made pilsner given an expressive fermentation. Very nice.

Perennial Artisan Ales Stepping into Tomorrow

Peppery aroma with woody, earthy, leathery _Brett_ evident in the background; low, spicy hops. Funk-forward flavor, with notes of wood, mushroom, light fruit, white pepper, and cardamom. Lingering tartness. Big but balanced. Well-made but lacking in complexity.

The Lost Abbey Carnevale

Peach, pineapple, dry white wine, tangerine, red berries, oak. Aggressive carbonation leads to harsh first impression. Light sweetness throughout, moderate acidity, slight tannic bitterness in finish.
