Brewery owners who want to scale a beloved homebrew recipe to the right size for his/her brewery might find it an intimidating undertaking. However, software exists that allows brewers to input numbers from a small-batch recipe and "up-size" them to one that can be enjoyed by hundreds.

  • Start by entering the equipment information for your brewery
  • Next, enter your recipe, then scale it up to the size you need
  • Finally, tweak the numbers to ensure the right IBUS, SG/OG, and more

Be especially careful to pay attention to the smaller details. What started out as a small problem for your five-gallon batch could end up disastrous in a 15-bbl batch!
