450 North Brewing Company @ Simmons Winery Slushy XL- Pink Peach Rings

What the brewers say

“Conditioned on watermelon and peach.”

What our panel thought

“Pungent watermelon candy in the nose. Spiked watermelon-water flavor, with some slight peach in the background. The sour component complements the fruit while balancing the sweetness.”

What our editors thought

“Nose of those hard-then-chewy watermelon candies—gloriously over-the-top, yet nostalgically satisfying. A surprisingly toothy sip channels peach flesh with a hefty sweetness that feels grounded in actual fruit. Acidity lingers, once the sweetness wears off. Candy-like, but in the best possible way.”

Halfway Crooks Beer Zero Cool

“Bright lemon, candied lemon, rosemary notes in the aroma. Smooth, crisp flavor, with lemon zest and lemon flesh dominating a low bread backbone. Rosemary notes show up later and linger into a lemony herbal finish.”

Area Two Experimental Brewing Gueuze

Aroma of black pepper, peach, mild acid, light mango, orange, and light herbal/celery note. In the flavor, acidity isn't quite harsh—rises and fades with light sweetness throughout. Mild herbal funk. Light notes of cinnamon, mango, kumquat. Good drinkability. Interesting spicy/herbal complexity.

Allagash Brewing Company Little Grove: Peach & Kombucha

Aroma of fresh, juicy stone fruit complemented by earthy hops. Flavor is light and pleasant—a bit funky, a bit sour, a bit spicy—with restrained peach and a kombucha edge. Bready malt, crisp balancing bitterness. Light body, effervescent. Dry finish, a bit stark. Tartness lingers.
