What the brewers say

“A toasty, biscuity Vienna-style lager fermented at ambient Monterey temperature.”

What our panel thought

“Fruity esters, orange candy, and toasted malt on the nose. Muted but clean malt with very light coffee and caramel notes. Herbal hops, medium sweet cherry, damp earth, light toast, bready with a dry finish. Drinkable, with fun complexity.”

What our editors thought

“Lightly sweet floral nose with subtle toasted Maillard notes. The body leans trim, with a bready edge and a not-quite-crisp bantamweight agility.”
