What the brewers say

"A hop sandwich of Simcoe and Columbus hops."

What our panel thought

"Dominant citrus up front—orange, lemon—with piney, grassy notes. Moderately sweet, lightly toasty malt; some green onion/garlic hop flavors, with peppery spice, orange-citrus, light grass—and moderately strong, bracing bitterness. Overall, fairly malty. Classic West Coast–style hop profile."

What our editors thought

"Classically bent citrus-dank nose. The sip continues the party, with a moderate yet smooth bitterness underpinning it. An idealized West Coast IPA, maybe a touch sweet with crackery malt, but right down the classic line."
