What the brewers say

"A light, dry saison aged in French oak Sauvignon Blanc barrels with Brettanomyces."

What our panel thought

"Bright funk welcomes the nose with rustic notes of earth, lemongrass, tangerine, hay, bread dough. Flavor is spicy, pepper-like, with gentle acidity and pear notes. Strange bread-like malt character with a chardonnay-like dryness."

What our editors thought

"Toasted bread crust on the nose, maybe a bit burnt, with bourbon-soaked citrus notes. Banana smoothie with mild hop bitterness to keep it in line. Weird and challenging."
