What the brewers say

An oak-aged saison and the first release in our Single Barrel series, which showcases exceptional moments when we find the beer inside a single barrel to be too special to blend.

What our panel thought

Lovely—bright gold with lush foam. Soft aroma with stone fruit, lemon-lime, light spice, nutty grain, and low, earthy, gueuze-like funk. Gently tart acidity finds harmony with soft bitterness on fluffy carbonation; bright stone-fruit notes in the foreground, lemon-limeade at mid-stage, with a grassy-earthy funk backdrop. Dry finish, lingering stone fruit. Round and harmonious. Beautifully balanced, refreshing. Fabulous.

What our editors thought

Light melon, gentle oak, a touch of petrichor, subtle stone fruit, and confidently understated white-wine grape on the nose. The expectation of acidity in the sip is met by conscious restraint, as the subdued stone fruit and bitterness help to amplify the white-wine character without _Brett _sharpness or puckering acidity. An extraordinary work.
