What the brewers say

“Full-bodied German spring lager.”

What our panel thought

“Rich malty aroma, clean and toasty with a hint of floral hops. Smooth and rich, with a full body and low bitterness. Minimal hop flavor. Alcohol is very well hidden, lingers with a hint of sweetness and light toasted malt. Very well balanced and superbly drinkable.”

What our editors thought

“Light nose with oatmeal-cookie notes. Soft sweetness in the initial sip finds a light herbal hop bitterness and a bit of malt tannin to balance. Finishes with a tight herbal bitterness that plays nicely with the lingering malt.”
