Girdwood Brewing Company Girdweird
What the brewers say
“The hops take center stage with a clean, slightly bitter finish, signature of a West Coast IPA.”
What our panel thought
“Sweet grapefruit, pine nose. Flavors include pine sap, blackberries, cherries. A sharp, clean bitterness cuts through the tongue like a knife and lingers, letting you know it slaughtered your palate. Sounds brutal, but you go back for more. A bright and strong example of a heavily American-hopped beer.”
What our editors thought
“Smells a bit like a swanky steakhouse—fresh but meaty with cut flowers and a bit of sizzle. Sip is modern with light fruit-pith bitterness.”
