House Divided Brewery Whole Latte Love Blonde Stout

What the brewers say

“A blonde ale with lactose and cold-brew coffee.”

What our panel thought

“Subtle hints of light-roasted coffee, more caramel-forward and floral than you might expect, dance in the nose. Sip is an odd combination of lightly sweet, bready malt, floral, and perfume-like hop bitterness and just a hint of coffee that emerges in the dry finish.”

What our editors thought

“Light-roast coffee and hops combine for a surprisingly aggressive aroma with herbal, floral, and citrus notes. A bit funky in the sip with a strong bitterness and some green-apple notes.”
