Idle Hands Craft Ales Six Seam
What the brewers say
“Subtle spice character from rye complements the increased hopping rates and focus on Mosaic hops.”
What our panel thought
“Nose of dried fruit, light tropical mango, peach, tangerine, a hint of grass. Nice hop flavor with orange peel, peach, grapefruit zest, offset by an astringent tannin. Fairly bitter, dry. Seems muddled and indistinct. Hops linger, but not harsh. Some heat becomes evident. Rough on the edges.”
What our editors thought
“Fruit Stripe gum nose, softened with a touch of banana. The sip is clean tropical notes, thin and drinkable, with a prickly-pepper bitterness underneath.”
