What the brewers say

“Inspired by the traditional Czech pilsner style. Brewed with great Noble hops from Czechia.”

What our panel thought

“Spicy, floral, and citrus hop aroma dominates with an almost tropical quality. Light, odd grassy and mineral/stone note in the nose. Quite malt-forward, generally moderate biscuit/bread but lacking melanoidins and somewhat oxidized. Hops not as assertive as expected, general balance is quite malt-forward. Good, but not typical at all of Czech styles.”

What our editors thought

“Dried herbal note on the nose evokes basil or oregano and carries prominently into the flavor as strong grassy herbal bitterness.”
