What the brewers say

“Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops pair nicely against an English malt backbone.”

What our panel thought

“Aggressive hop aroma—lime, grapefruit, underlying catty note, light grass. In the flavor, malt sweetness nicely balances strong hop flavors—tropical mango, passion fruit, citrus zest. Balanced, smooth, creamy, with a pleasantly bitter finish. A touch pithy, harsh, lasting into the finish. Not as harmonious as it could be. Well-constructed and interesting.”

What our editors thought

“Yuzu and earth, bright but grounded. The sip melds the sweeter fruit element with a bit of earthy funk.”
