What the brewers say

“Blonde ale dry hopped with Mosaic. Dry, clean, toasted malt backbone and a citrusy finish.”

What our panel thought

Aroma: “Bursting with fruity hops flavor. Take your pick: mango, guava, tangerine, lemon, passion fruit, grapefruit are all there. So is a slight catty, dank, and piney hops note. Malt is hard to discern at first sniff.”

Flavor: “Just like on the aroma, hops flavors dominate and are punched up by the light malt sweetness. Bitterness is surprisingly restrained for the intense hops flavors. Still, there’s a sweet malt backbone.”

Overall: “Loads of tropical fruit and a smooth finish, like a good session IPA lacking astringency. The intensity of the hops character pushes the line between ‘blonde’ and ‘session IPA,’ but if you set definitions aside and approach it as a very light, hoppy beer, it does not disappoint.”
