"Initial blast of spice—extremely peppery up front, sulfur, pungent wood, light citrus. Assertively spicy, but it complements the fermentation profile, ‘dialing up the volume’ on the underlying beer. Light fruit esters add to perceived sweetness. High carbonation gives impression of lighter body and dry finish. You could convince me this wasn’t spiced and just used a particularly spicy yeast. Well integrated."

"Spicy pepper note moves beyond yeast alone, with a touch of banana bubblegum in the back. The sip goes intense on banana and the spicy phenolic, with amped-up levels of both that could use just a touch more bitterness to ground them."
