What the brewers say

“Czech-style pilsner.”

What our panel thought

“Doesn’t offer a lot of edges to grasp on to. The nose is mild with an easy blend of bready malt and light spicy hops. The flavor is slightly more assertive on both those fronts while also bringing in a mild touch of cabbage. Excellent head and retention. Finishes dry, with a touch of Maillard sweetness. Perhaps a touch too malty, but captures many classic hallmarks of a Czech pale.”

What our editors thought

“Malt fruitiness in the nose with loud floral notes that verge on soapy. Sip is broadly fruity and floral.”
