What the brewers say

"Brewed with flaked maize, heavily hopped with over eight pounds per barrel of hops."

What our panel thought

"Strong hop-forward aroma: citrus, passion fruit, pineapple, star fruit, light pine, diesel, garlic. Dry, crackery malt and firm bitterness, with dominant grassy, piney hop flavors. Medium-light body can’t contain the bitterness, which lingers, pushing into harsh territory. Great aroma; challenging bitterness."

What our editors thought

"Bright, juicy, overripe tropical nose—mango, papaya—cleanly expressed. The sip trades juiciness for broad, mouth-filling bitterness that steals the show."
