What the brewers say

“Balances tropical hops with a hint of pine and slight yet welcome bitterness.”

What our panel thought

“Light resin, grassy, and garlic/diesel hop aromas with low orange and peach. The malt sweetness washes through the flavor, adding a candied note to the tangerine-meets-pine-forest hops. Finishes mostly dry, with a bit of hop burn.”

What our editors thought

“Clear, but the chalky tropical-fruit notes on the nose share more with hazy IPAs than fellow West Coasters. The sip continues the soft and tropical theme, with a dialed-back bitterness and waves of gentle tropical fruit, but the net effect is just a bit too subtle.”
