What the brewers say

Premium American lager brewed entirely of malted barley. 2019 GABF Silver Medal winner.

What our panel thought

Unexpected malt depth in the nose, with grain, corn, toast, and hints of lemon and light chocolate. Light on the palate, feeling thin, with some spicy hop and subtle bitterness toward the finish, lacking mid-palate sweetness to fill it out. Simple and austere—brut pilsner?—but refreshing.

What our editors thought

Brisk, floral nose—subdued sophistication over blatant metaphor. Light cocoa offers a dusty counterpoint. The sip is straightforward, light malt notes hovering between sweet and dry. Cleverly tucks into a lager middle ground; easy to keep drinking.
