What the brewers say

“A traditional hazy German-style wheat beer.”

What our panel thought

“Bready aroma with very low esters or phenolics. Moderate tart lemon flavor settles into a medium grainy bread note. As with the aroma, the fruity esters are almost nonexistent. Low black pepper and tea-like notes linger into a quite dry finish with a hint of bread. Leans a little too bitter.”

What our editors thought

“Soft and almost juicy bubblegum notes on the nose, with just a faint peppery foil. Bitter notes amp up against the fruit in the sip, in a particularly American way.”
