Brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, Mississippi Mud Espresso, cacao nibs, and maple syrup. Aged in Four Roses bourbon barrels.
What our panel thought
Syrup sweetness, coffee, and spice certainly get the ‘breakfast’ thing down. Great balance of complex char-acters. Sweet on balance without being cloying, with the heat from the alcohol providing balance.
What our editors thought
Nostalgia rules the nose with a heady mix of chocolate processed breakfast cereal, maple syrup, and light roast coffee. A soft, pleasant cacao and coffee bitterness defines the sip and reins in the otherwise rampant sweetness. It’s bold in every way, but strikes a drinkable balance.
