Anchor Brewing Co. Crisp Pilsner

Great foam, brilliant yellow-gold. Subtle but complex nose: herbal, floral, spicy, hints of lime zest, supported by light brioche malt. On the palate, fair bitterness checked by light sweetness. Flashes of herbal-zesty hop and lingering wood-spice. Has some zing, yet cohesive. Sublime. Could drink loads.

“Pear and apple aroma with grainy malt notes. Medium-light sweet corn. Acidic and semidry finish with notes of corn and white bread. Medium hop bitterness. Crisp, clean, and refreshing, with lively carbonation.”

Bent Water Brewing Company Suborbital

Inviting nose with broad, earthy citrus and hints of tropical fruit, apricot, pear. Hop flavor is restrained but balanced—citrus, stone fruit—with light lingering bitterness and balancing malt sweetness. Muted somewhat by a mild chalky note. Finishes dry and bitter but lingers pleasantly.
