What the brewers say

“Unique and Noble, crisp (of course), with woody, herbal, lemon, and lavender notes.”

What our panel thought

“Unassuming nose belies a complex, though somewhat strange, hop character in the body. Ripe strawberry, pine, and a Scotch-like smokiness near the finish. Not unpleasant, but certainly head-turning. The hop notes are paired with a very well-crafted base pilsner that we’d love to see as a more traditional pilsner, too.”

What our editors thought

“Dry earthy herbal nose with hints of oregano and thyme. The sip has a warm-hued tone to it, inviting and comfortable.”
