Creature Comforts Brewing Co. Seeds Take Up the Soil

What the brewers say

“Celebrates the sweet potato and the story of agriculture and people from Africa to the South.”

What our panel thought

“A strong vanilla, marshmallow-led nose, then a medley of pumpkin-pie spices in the aroma and flavor. Vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, a slightly astringent sweetness. As it warms, more of an orange-pith impression. Peppery, perfume-like hop notes in the finish.”

What our editors thought

“Bold nutty nose with a slight herbal mintiness and a creamy, almost root beer–like spice that follows into the flavor. Soft, earthy sweet-potato notes emerge to buffer the spice.”
