What the brewers say

"Simple yet elegant table sour. Foeder-aged and bottle-conditioned."

What our panel thought

"Pear, wood, and moderate sweetness up front with white grape and lemon. Complex aroma without any real funk. It's much more sour than the aroma would suggest, and it's sour enough that it's not as sessionable as it could be."

What our editors thought

"Light and slightly sweet with a soft funk and cantaloupe/honeydew-melon notes. The gentle acidity is well-balanced with the funk and sweetness making for a flavorful (if a touch sweet) sipper."
