What the brewers say

“An easy-drinking wheat beer with a nose of cloves and banana and a citrus finish.”

What our panel thought

“The balance leans more to the banana side, but doesn’t get too extreme. The clove phenol is strongest in the finish and the aftertaste, but even then, it’s fairly mild. The mid-palate offers a delicate bready wheat flavor.”

What our editors thought

“A mild nose belies a big flavor as a touch of American-style bitterness plays off citrus fruitiness in the sip. It finishes with a cleansing bitterness, but a touch of savory citrus zest lingers on.”
