Dry Dock Brewing Co- South Dock Doppledock
What the brewers say
“Traditional doppelbock.”
What our panel thought
“Dark fruit esters with notes of red grape, plum, and a touch of toast. Cleanly fermented, yet a tad under-attenuated; the low carbonation contributes to that sweet experience. Bready with some dark toast and caramel character. Subtle alcoholic warmth lingers gently into the finish.”
What our editors thought
“Finely threaded toasty sweet malt notes weave through the nose and the flavor. The sip is dry and full, with a familiar German feel.”
