What the brewers say

“This is our authentic tribute to a city, a people, and a beer. It is, in many ways, the soul of our brewery. Crisp and clean, with light flavors of lemon, white flour, and fresh baked crackers lead into a dry finish.”

What our panel thought

Aroma: “Light bready malt with even lighter floral/perfumy and herbal hops. Very clean with slightly sweet grainy white-wine and stone-fruit esters.”

Flavor: “The flavor is also delicate with more bready and lighter fruit character. Low sweetness into very low bitterness. Well-balanced with a slightly hops-forward, but still crisp, finish. Very refreshing.”

Overall: “Clean, easy-drinking beer where the simplicity seems effortless and self-assured. A nice balance of clean simple malt and subtly pleasant but still noticeable hops aromas and flavors. It walks a delicate tightrope but never falls off.”
