What the brewers say

“Signature roasted notes, hints of vanilla and oak, and spirit-influenced finish.”

What our panel thought

“Bourbon-barrel aroma dominates, with undercurrents of chile, peppermint. Lingering chocolate and licorice notes. In the sip, chocolate, caramel, medium-roast coffee lay the foundation. Brighter notes of vanilla, dark cherry, dates rise to the top. Lighter body allows for more generous pours.”

What our editors thought

“Hop and herbal note on the aroma, but sharp and classic. Nice burnt bread crust malt line. Chewy with a pleasant hop bitterness. A throwback in the best way.”
