What the brewers say

Amarillo, Chinook & Mosaic-hopped red India pale ale.

What our panel thought

Earthy pine and bright orange-citrus aromas clash in a classic way; background hints of toasted malt, onion, and peppery spice. Flavor brings freshly peeled orange-hop atop a bread-crust-malt foundation. Bitterness is restrained, tempered by caramel. Dry finish, undefined, with mild astringency.

What our editors thought

Candied tropical fruit nose: pineapple, lychee, apricot, peach. The sip joins light tannic malt bite with very gentle hops bitterness, lingering caramel malt, and less-overt fruit. Compelling blend of cutting-edge hopping with classic craft style.
