Hop Butcher For the World Tavern King

What the brewers say

“Citra, Vic Secret, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin.”

What our panel thought

“Aroma of tangerine, orange, mango—a bit muted. Full body, almost chewy; hops tailored well for higher malt flavor. Notes of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, white peach, lychee, mango. Nice bitterness overall. Finishes a touch sweet but balances well; citrus-forward. Delicious. Hides its strength. Great drinkability.”

What our editors thought

“Grilled pineapple nose with glimpses of stone fruit. Sweet passion fruit–guava in the sip. Chalky, smooth fruit character lingers with a touch of tropical bitterness into the finish. Bold sip, colorful, vivid.”
