What the brewers say

"Highly aromatic, hop-forward with notes of tropical fruits, stone fruit, berry, citrus, and pine."

What our panel thought

"Mellow aroma, pleasantly familiar: grapefruit, pine resin, light dollop of dank, doughy-sweet malt. Flavor runs sweet, threatening to overpower zesty hops—but also cushioning high bitterness with a comfy malt blanket. Aftertaste continues the malt-and-resin interplay. Refined choices about where to be unrefined."

What our editors thought

"Earthy, lower-key, overripe tropical fruit on the nose. That persists into the sip, with a backing bitterness nearly indistinguishable from the whole. Nimble and deft despite big, weighty flavors."
