What the brewers say

“This Double IPA includes Mosaic and Simcoe hops, South American specialty malt, and tons of tastiness. Looks like liquid gold, smells like a bright tropical fruit pine forest, and tastes like all that and more.”

What our panel thought

Aroma: “Dank and resinous with some complex citrus notes of orange and grapefruit Malt sweetness up front with a slight booze character."

Flavor: "Pretty tasty example of the dank side of life. Alcohol is fairly well hidden among the herbal resin hop, while we would like a bit more bitterness in the finish to go with the medium sweet malt that does linger, slowing it down, it is still a fairly crisp and drinkable beer for its size"

Overall: “Overall a resinous hop character dominates with a slight floral/herbal character but is dominated by the malt sweetness and alcohol warming. The hop bitterness dominates. Assertive and balanced."
