Lawson's Finest Liquids Mad River Maple

What the brewers say

“Robust, rich maple ale loaded with 100% pure Vermont maple syrup. Smooth and palate-pleasing mouthfeel with a slightly sweet finish.”

What our panel thought

“Aroma filled with caramel and toffee with a lower level of toast, dried red fruits, and a sweet maple note. Interesting flavor profile of dusty grain, husky caramel, and earthiness. Maple-syrup sweetness is loud and proud. Settles into an overall dryness that finishes relatively cleanly and invites the next sip.”

What our editors thought

“Broad, fruity aroma with bits of daiquiri, nutty latte, mint, and lime. Sweet and chewy in the flavor, boldly malty with sweet bready notes and a tannic woody structure, but a tropical herbal finishing note that feels unexpected and fresh. Unusual and intriguing.”
