What the brewers say

“Super light and refreshing with a hint of coconut.”

What our panel thought

“Complex toasted-coconut aroma with clean malt and fermentation character. Flavor consists of a base of corn and layers of toasted coconut that lend a toasted-corn-chip quality. Although not highlighted, the hops balance well.”

What our editors thought

“Very light aroma with just a touch of lemon over airy malt. Similarly soft in the sip, as the coconut builds atmosphere and body more than direct flavor.”

Line Creek Brewing Happy Cowboy

Bright and bold aromatics of watermelon candy are first and foremost in the nose with a light floral perfume note in the background. Rindy watermelon nose with subtle candy-like nuances. The initial sip is pleasantly tart with a slow build of sourness. Fruit notes take a bit of a back seat but are present enough to be noticeable. Light lactic note slowly fades into hints of butter but the finish remains crisp, tart, and nicely dry.

Line Creek Brewing Gnarly Knucklehead

Light toasted graham cracker, damp earth, and hints of licorice in the aroma. Sweet malt with subdued hop character, this beer has a milk chocolate tendency. Lively hops sprout from the dark logs laying inside of this beer. Hop bitterness keeps the beer in check with a lasting drying quality.

Line Creek Brewing Kickstand

“Papaya, banana-led nose. Touch of strawberry as it warms. Light cherry, strawberry-led hop flavors, with touches of melon and pineapple, and a finish of orange candy. Bitterness and sweetness are nicely balanced. A light maltiness and a warming underneath provide some depth.”
