Little Fish Brewing Company Come at Me, Beau
What the brewers say
A “Beau-hemian” pilsner dedicated to our good friend and taproom manager Beau Nishimura.
What our panel thought
Weird nose—some cotton candy, tar, and rose—but not off-putting. Dry-cracker middle and floral hop character as bitterness gets a slight edge. Slightly astringent finish. Bohemian pils through an American lens? Hop character dominates, missing the subtle malt.
What our editors thought
Mid-tone herbal spice with a chocolate note in the nose. The sip keeps the light wood theme going, backed by light malt sweetness raised by gentle carbonation. Soft herbal hops ride cautiously into the finish while faint chocolate notes reappear in the long linger.
