What the brewers say

“Sugar Creek Malt heirloom Edelweiss malt, traditional decoction, German-grown hops, our house lager yeast, natural carbonation for an extremely smooth, clean, and refreshing märzen, boasting elegant malt character.”

What our panel thought

“Aroma showcases some toasty malt with a supporting amount of sweetness. The palate is highlighted with medium-sweet toasted bread and light caramel with firm hop bitterness restraining the malt sweetness. Very well-rounded and enjoyable.”

What our editors thought

“Amber body with a tight beige head and fine bubbles. Toasty in the nose with mild floral notes, a very faint bread crust, and just a hint of fresh green herbs. Silky smooth in the sip with a vivid lime streak that quickly resolves into refined bready malt. Speaks volumes without raising its voice, bold but appropriately reserved and polished.”
