Silky smooth sweet stout.

What our panel thought

Restrained aromas of coffee, roast, and light ash. There is a heavier hand of dark roast overtaking the lac-tose. A delicate hops flavor weaves through this without distracting. Overall the body falls a bit short with the flavors muddled together.

What our editors thought

A hint of smoked-malt aroma on the nose lends a bacon-for-breakfast feel without overwhelming it, while the sip offers just a touch of sweetness in a rather loose and unfocused body. More structure would benefit it greatly.

New Belgium Dominga Grapefruit

New Belgium wood cellar blender Lauren Limbach was gifted a new foeder that she aptly named Dominga—a play on the Spanish word for Sunday.
