What the brewers say

“Bready aromatics and lemon-pepper zest flavors hit harder than a Buffalo-based breakdown throughout the pint.”

What our panel thought

“Subtle aroma of malt and grassy American hops. Complex from the outset. Bready malt, rich esters, and woody hop notes blend seamlessly. More hop flavor than bitterness, but well balanced, though tilted toward the malt side. Nuanced malt profile with hint of honey, hay, cereal with graceful floral hop notes. Rich without being cloying. Not a light beer, but certainly not sweet. Well-balanced hop bitterness and a crisp, clean finish.”

What our editors thought

“Toasted bread and very light lemon zest with a faint rounded floral aroma makes it accessible and welcoming while light and fresh. That bready malt leads the sip braced by a firm general pils bitterness with earthy mineral undertones. The bitterness lingers, but a very light malt sweetness emerges to soften the finish. Dynamic and engaging.”
