What the brewers say

Mosaic and a cast of supporting hops give this DIPA layers of tropical fruit and citrus with a bracing pine bit-terness in the finish.

What our panel thought

Traditional caramel-malt notes in both aroma and flavor temper the hops bitterness. Hops profile is a bit of sweet citrus coupled with some piney notes and a bit of dankness, which combine well. The alcoholic warmth isn’t boozy or harsh. The lingering finish is bitter but not astringent.

What our editors thought

A gorgeous guava and apricot nose invites you to dive in, and the sip offers a soft supportive landing with more defined fruit notes braced by a medium bitterness that builds with each swallow. A thoroughly contem-porary approach applying modern hopping to the (now) classic style.
