Radiant Beer Co Little Presents

What the brewers say

“Subtle notes of crackery aroma and hints of spicy, citrusy hops. Brewed with a touch of rice.”

What our panel thought

“Very delicate aromatics—floral hops and hints of lemongrass. The flavor begins just as soft-spoken, but opens up to reveal pleasant perfume-like bitter notes that linger. That soft-loud dynamic may get lost among more flavor-forward peers, but it’s almost too good at finding that delicate, understated balance.”

What our editors thought

“Faintly sweet nose with a creamy citrus appeal. Drops the carbonation lower than expected, tempering bite and accentuating the light citrus sweetness.”

Radiant Beer Co Such a Fine Line

“Spicy, slightly floral hops in the aroma. Hop flavor is more lemon spice, with some grainy, slightly bready flavors. Finishes dry, with a good dose of Noble hops. More clean and crisp than rounded. Hop flavor is a real strength.”

Black Spruce Brewing Company Aroma Dome

“Engaging aroma of dank weed, Juicy Fruit Bubble Gum, melon, papaya, and clove. The flavor has similar notes, combined with grapefruit and light, faintly sweet malt. The finish is melon and grapefruit, a refreshing harmony that would work nicely on a hot day. The bitterness is present, but restrained, leaving a softer finish.”

Fiction Beer Alternate Present

Aroma: “Moderate chocolate with roast and toasty malt. Rich Munich-type malt in there to support overall, and there’s a very light touch of slight smoke. A faint hops note loiters deep in the background.” Flavor: “More rich and toasty malts with hints of coffee, smoke, and bitter chocolate. Moderate sweetness morphs into a moderately low bitterness.” Overall: “A pleasant, roast-forward beer with hints of smoke but a slight sweetness that softens any possible rough edges. Nice malt character and malt complexity, but still very clean—that body doesn’t linger in the finish, and it closes in a crisp and refreshing way. A tasty beer overall.”
