What the brewers say

Fermented with a Belgian yeast strain, house Lacto, and Brett. Aged in oak and conditioned on nectaplums.

What our panel thought

Banana, mango, orange notes on the nose. Sparkling but medium-full mouthfeel, nicely tart and juicy. An impression of puree chunkiness before it dissolves on the tongue. Juicy, sour-orange flavor. The fun is in the interplay between the acidity and the texture. A nice balance of sweetness and tartness.

What our editors thought

Gentle stone fruit on the nose with just the faintest funk. The sip brings a medium lactic acidity that’s nonetheless clean and bright, underscoring the perceived sweetness of the fruit. Texturally, the fruit adds a silkiness and heft, wrapping the acidity in a thick juiciness that tames its bite a bit. Bold and big.
