What the brewers say

Assertively hoppy Czech-style pilsner. Clean, crisp, and refreshing for consuming en masse.

What our panel thought

Sweet, floral-herbal nose—mint, chamomile, hint of marzipan. Flavor is up-front malty—restrained bitterness is just enough to keep that doughy sweetness from being flabby. Floral hop flavor leads to lingering spice in the finish—compelling. Wants a bitter edge to make it really addictive.

What our editors thought

Sweet floral notes on the nose with a bit of herbal undercurrent. The flavor aims a bit too high, with big notes of overripe bitter fruit, white pepper, and a bit of tea-like herbal bitterness. It's enjoyable in its new-school approach, but consciously outside the canon.
