Roaring Table Brewing Bar & Grill

What the brewers say

“California-style pils malt IPA.”

What our panel thought

“Smooth dankness and grassiness in both the aroma and flavor. Grapefruit and orange stay through and through. Moderate-plus bitterness, smooth malt with a slightly sweet alcohol component. Slight, pleasant warmth is left on the palate.”

What our editors thought

“Very light color from what must be the palest pilsner malt available. Light tropical fruit with spicier red floral notes in the aroma. Pineapple and cherry with tobacco behind them in the flavor, for a nice push and pull.”

Roaring Table Brewing RTB Pils

“The nose presents a flourish of herbal spicy hop aroma with just a brush of malt sweetness. Each sip is a clean firecracker of the same in flavor form, accompanied by a smooth bitter edge and finish. Perceived sweetness is a shade higher than typical, but it balances the stronger flavor notes.”

Perennial Artisan Ales Owen

Brilliant color, and a two-finger head that doesn’t fade. Inviting aromatics of lush lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and passion fruit complement the funk. Acidity is quite low, tempering the tropical and citrus flavors. Could easily have more than one.

Roaring Table Brewing Tuba Solo

“Big pineapple, lime, and orange aroma with light vanilla and soft peach. Nicely layered solid hop punch of grapefruit, mango, guava, and a light edge of onion and diesel. A burst of hop flavors jumps across the palate on the first sip with a joyful energy. Very smooth, no burn. Soft malt backbone provides the canvas for the citrus and spicy hop flavors to shine and flow into the balanced finish. Easily begs you to take another sip and then order another one.”
